I asked a wise woman
the difference between
giving up and surrender
and she walked to the water
even though it was cold
and said across the sound
of the sea that one is to sink
and the other is to lay back
and float.

Healing all the layers as they become available…
With patience & witness the unfolding of a new way to experience the world is possible.

"Vulnerability is soft resilience – it is a healthy ‘psychic tissue’, supple and responsive, soft and fluid, and its power comes from its openness and trust.

All human beings, by their original nature are vulnerable. We are sensitive, biological, soulful creatures who can be wounded. We can cry, bleed, hurt, die – but we are also soft, open, receptive.
We are holy grails for the love currents of universal flow.

Healthy vulnerability is destroyed when we experience trauma – our boundaries become barriers, our defense mechanisms become armies, and our softness becomes a shell of protection. Or we mistake lack of discernment for openness.

When our vulnerability has been wounded, we become fragile.
What was once soft becomes brittle, what was supple, feels breakable.
The paradox is, when we are fragile, we appear very hard."

Introducing Dan Harrison! LMT since 2016

Dan is available every Saturday at The Center. You can book with him directly online www.cosmiclightmassage.net or contact him at (415)259-1892.
“The focus of my training has been in deep tissue, shiatsu, swedish, sports massage and myofascial therapies. From there I developed a unique working style focusing on deep tissue techniques while incorporating point work along energy meridians.

During my experience as a massage therapist I was turned on to Acutonics in which I learned about new worlds, and worlds within worlds, and how our connection to the cosmos is alive within our bodies. Acutonics draws it’s foundations from Oriental medicine, psychology, science, cosmological studies and sound healing principles. With the use of precision calibrated tuning forks the sounds of the universe are channeled into our bodies through acupressure points and chakras providing noninvasive access to these core energy systems of the body. This helps us to overcome dysfunctions and regain balance throughout all systems in our being.”

Sometimes beauty is found in surrender. Some days,
even when you take good care of yourself,
pain visits.
Acceptance can be elusive when the body aches,
the heart is heavy,
and your plans don’t go your way.
Can you allow yourself the space to just be, when the body speaks out of turn?
When self care is the necessary antidote, can you sit with that?
💜
May tenderness be upon you today.
Peace on your path,
Tracy

just for today
may you find time to truly be with yourself
may you guide yourself through the places that ache
may curiosity sit beside you as you let your soul stretch
may you hold space for all you feel
may you release judgement towards yourself
may you find more moments filled with wonder
💜
peace on your path,
Tracy
