Born and raised in Macedon, NY, Paula has been part of the Mitchell Family Funeral Homes team since 1994, fulfilling a dream she’s had since she was just 12 years old. For over 31 years, she’s dedicated herself to serving families with compassion and care.

When she’s not helping families, you’ll often find her enjoying time with her husband Joe and daughter Julia, bowling, playing volleyball, or bartending at the Albion Vets Club.

We’re so grateful for her heart, dedication, and the difference she’s made in the lives of so many.

Grief is a natural human emotion, so be sure to allow the person the right to grieve. Again, everyone does it differently. Some people want to withdraw and work through their sadness alone. Others manage by carrying on as usual and tempering the pain through the distraction of people and parties.
