Today is the first day of the Legislative session.

For the first time, ALL of the advocates have UNITED for a day at the Capitol.

Victoria was awake at 3 am. Maybe she was excited too.

Please join us and all of the other important advocates at the Georgia State Capitol as we make history together, united as one. Finally.

Unconditional love is selfless, nonjudgmental love with no strings attached, accepting someone for who they are, flaws and all, without expecting anything in return, often seen as parental love but applicable to all relationships, meaning you love the person even when you don't like their actions, creating a foundation of acceptance, support, and safety.

Rep. Michael Smith was eager to hear stories like Victoria’s. He stated coming to the Capitol and sharing personal testimony is what is actually moving the needle forward. He specifically mentioned “70’s Hippies” and how that is NOT successful and does not help move the needle at all. Stagnate.

He mentioned elderly people sharing their story about pain and suffering helps move the needle. Also Veterans need to join the movement.

Tonight, I’ll share her story with many more Legislatures at The Wild Hog Supper.

The first day of session is tomorrow and we have a Press Conf. I was happy to see 1 seizure momma from Elijay, Ga enter back into activism. Yeah Mellisa!

Selfless love really shows up when you have someone whom you love more than yourself.

People have zero and I mean absolutely zero idea about this life.

Even if you have a “relative” with Special needs, unless you help care for the person, 24-7, it’s truly hard to gain an understanding of this life.

Words cannot even describe this life to where you could even begin to understand.

Tonight, in our County, another family is mourning the loss of their loved ones.

This world could use a lot more empathy and alot less greed & selfishness.

The Capitol brought so many people together from all over Georgia.

Looking at the memories and seeing too many faces no longer with us.

Families drove from Covington, Ga and Macon, Georgia, All over the State.

Here we are approaching 2026 with limited access.

Our community of Seizure families have seen our share of loss. We’ve lost fathers and we’ve lost children and we’ve lost adults with disabilities.

She’s the first mother.

Her husband & son need support more than ever. Hug your people as you don’t know when you’ll see them again.

Is there a compound for Special needs parents & caregivers?

Seems like I saw this someplace or I imagined it.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be in a safe place where you could live in solitude and know your child is safe.

Victoria is sleeping therefore I’m able to post before she wakes up and starts her day. We need a clone or extra set of hands. The issue is 1) she doesn’t communicate verbally 2) i don’t trust people.

Today, a group of advocates will be having lunch with a Senator. I’m supposed to be there at 12. Then I have to take my mother to the ER. We have an appt at 2 in Midtown. Emory has this program where you can make an appt for the ICC (ER for Cancer patients) and I have Victoria with me basically 24-7, like cannot Christmas shop. Not even have a Birthday dinner. No help.

I need a clone or we need to move to the land of Special needs, after we find it.

Fingers crossed that she has a seizure free day today and all is well. Joseph stayed home from work today so he can watch her. He was just at Waffle House at 4 am so there’s that!

Ya’ll don’t know Mr. Dennis Not the Menace

Frankly we’ve never met him either but I can tell you this:

He’s a Grandpa, he’s a He served his Country well, Thank YOU for your service, Sir. He has a good heart. He’s retired. He enjoys his land and his family. He does what he can for those in need.

Yesterday, although he’s never met Victoria, He made sure she got the medicine she needed. Right on time, I might add.

Earlier in the week, I advised his family that another SN momma & a good friend, took care of Victoria and made sure she got the cannabis rescue nasal spray. And I can probably guess Mr. Dennis said “Always have a back up plan” and he’s right!

People who’ve never met her have offered to help, from former high school friends in Florida to fellow advocates in Detroit. Thank YOU for using your power for good and also for not bashing us for using what we have. Even though we need more safe access.

Yesterday, I tried to make a post to explain what is happening here in Ga but Victoria had other plans and I gave up, editing it.

If the world had more people, old & young, like Mr. Dennis Not the Menace, folks who help where you can. We would be better as a society. If you can’t be anything else, be kind. Thank you again! Stay warm.

She just had a seizure a few minutes ago.
This is like having a newborn 24/7 for over 24 years.
