Today marks the New Year in the ancient Bon tradition, the indigenous spiritual tradition of Tibet, and the beginning of the Fire Horse year.

Bon predates Tibetan Buddhism and carries a profound lineage of healing and prayer — traditions devoted to restoring balance, harmony, and wellbeing for both body and mind, and cultivating compassion for all beings.

This healing lineage is the very foundation of my own practice and of Healing Blends.

I wanted to share this beautiful universal prayer today — a heartfelt wish for the wellbeing of all beings everywhere.

On February 17, many will also celebrate the Lunar (Chinese) New Year. Different traditions, different calendars, same heartfelt wish: peace, happiness, and freedom from suffering for all. 🙏

May this Fire Horse year be guided by courage, clarity, and compassion.
