Courtroom Dogs for Kids Courtroom Dogs For Kids, Inc., is an organization built on the foundation that 1.) a child's safety and interest come first; 2.)

To provide registered and trained therapy dogs that will serve as calming companions to children in therapy settings, and to accompany these children to court when necessary. every child's ability to realize the full expression of their own humanity from birth to adulthood should never be compromised; and 3.) children should know, above all else, that someone is there for them...providing hope where there is none...providing light where there is only darkness. To restore peace where it has been lost. Support...in this case, in the form of canines, wherever and whenever it may be needed.

Our standards for both the dogs and their handlers are extremely high, requiring extensive criminal background checks including an FBI fingerprint test, as well as rigorous training for the dogs. Not every dog is a therapy dog, and not every therapy dog is a courtroom dog - Because children are involved in these intimate settings, no leaf can remain unturned in our desire to provide nothing but the best dog/handler teams.
