NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT? Read below for powerful tips…

Ozempic will lead to further obesity problems. Here’s why:

1. The drug acts as a hormone signaling to the brain that you're full; that you’ve eaten enough. ***the assumption that eating too much is why you are overweight is short-sighted. In my experiences, clients who find success actually wind up eating more, but better quality, and know when to fast (i.e. intermittent fasting)

2. Ozempic literally slows down digestion. Hence the warnings attached the label. The scariest one is paralysis, yikes!
**your bodies ability to lose weight relays primarily on the efficiency (rate of energy production of ATP, energy) within the digestive track-stomach, spleen, intestines, liver, etc. Ozempic reduces this. It opposes metabolic function.. the process in which food turns into fuel.

3. People report sluggishness as a side effect. Makes sense why. If you're tired, how can you move your body, exercise, be active in life if you're being squashed down by a pill? How can you mentally thrive when being physically suppressed? You cant' expect to starve long-term and not yo yo back to previous weight.

LOSING STUBBORN BODY-FAT HAPPENS IN A BALANCED, VIBRANT SYSTEM.

Struggling with weight issues? Consider this 3 part perspective.

1. HEALTH HISTORY: In my experiences, health history, especially severe health conditions, have lasting impacts on your body's stress system. To lose weight, you must achieve good health first. You must bring the system back to balance; calm the nerves and restore basic gut and hormone balance.

2. PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Can you do basic movements successfully? Do you challenge yourself physcially in any way?Try positions of strength like squats, planks, pull-ups, or just hang from a bar. Can you? If not, get on a regular movement program for a minimum of 6 months. YES! 6 MONTHS. Not 6 weeks. If you're 50 years old. It took 50 years to create the current conditions within your cells. Give yourself a long term plan. 5 years. 5 months. Decide. Forget thinking 'quick' fitness. IF you lack basic physical strength, you lack internal balance. Start strength training and do some sort of cardiovascular... break a sweat everyday and stretch. It's not complicated. YOu don't need a gym membership, or to join a yoga studio. Don't ake a big deal over it. Just start moving and test yourself everyday. Can you squat down and stay there for 30 seconds? Over time, you can change your metabolic functioning. The worse off you are, the longer it takes.

3. Attitude. Do you believe you’ll just always be overweight? Lose that nonsense. WIth 25 years of training clients, I know that this mentality is real. It makes sense.. the food industry is against you. The weightloss industry is against long term solutions. The 'answers' in the market arent for your health; they're designed to profit from you repeated dive into another unsuccessful attempt to lose weight.

Make a long term mental investment. Tell yourself ‘I don’t know exactly how I’m going to do it, but in 2 years I will be a leaner, happier version of myself’. This is called auto-suggestion. The thoughts themselves will help open your mind to new possibilities, try new approaches, and eventually you’re in the best path! YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW EXACTLY HOW IT WILL HAPPEN.

Be Zen, Be Strong, and DO NOT TAKE THIS (OZEMPIC) GARBAGE.

I learned meditation first through a form of self-hypnosis. Sounds weird I know. I practiced daily, without hesitation, for several reasons.

First, each time I did, my nervous system got a reboot, a mini sleep, leaving the accumulated tension and mental obstacles behind (or evaporated maybe)

Secondly, the practice was open ended, while the process held structure. First, take a few deep breathes, then count down slowly, or up, I forget. Then enter into the minds imagination, vision, and abstract picturing of your psyche (or brain, or whatever). I enjoyed the open endedness. After 15 years of learning many forms of meditation and also seeing the market trends, I truly appreciate and see why I was so motivated: there were no promises of outcome… it was what it was. Pick up any yoga magazine today and see it’s full of bs promises of tranquility and spiritual growth… these are empty and at best misdirected, hoping you’ll buy.

Third, it was emotional. Yes, laying there in silence (an outside observe would figure I was apparently taking a nap), often brought about strong, deep, sometimes tear jerking emotions. Tears may roll down my face. The process, however, allowed for processing in a quiet, safe environment.

Zen Strong was born from these experiences. My physical health was suffering for many years. Meditation was my ‘exercise’ for many years.

Now, it is my foundation. A foundation that has lead to new discoveries for what works for me; new dimensions of strength, inner and outer, and a leaner, stronger, calmer, more focused life experience.
