Applications are now open for the Listen to Me! Hawaii Family Conference, happening October 10–12, 2025 (with virtual introductions on October 4).

📍 New this year: Two locations – Maui and Oahu!

This conference is designed for families of children with hearing loss who:

Have a child between 0–5 years old

Child wears hearing aids or cochlear implants

Family is able to attend all three days

Families will learn strategies to support their child’s listening and spoken language development, connect with other families, and participate in hands-on activities and support groups.

✏️ FREE Online Writing Program for Grades 6–8 ✏️

The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s Kākau Mea Nui 2.0 Writing Matters project is offering a free, 4-week online writing program for middle school students called “Writing Crew with UH Mānoa.”

🗓 Session Dates:

2nd: Oct 14 – Nov 5, 2025
📅 Days: Tuesdays & Wednesdays
⏰ Time: 4:00–5:00 PM

We have some BIG news to share — Sprouts Therapy is opening a brand-new indoor/outdoor clinic in Kailua on September 1st, 2025! 🎉

📍 Kailua Address (opening Sept 1):

This beautiful space was formerly a preschool, thoughtfully designed with children’s development and accessibility in mind. Here’s a peek at what’s coming:

✅ Larger parking lot with pull-through access for easier drop-off & pick-up
✅ Enclosed grassy outdoor area with sidewalks for bike riding, scooter boards, and outdoor therapy
✅ Outdoor playground for movement-based sessions
✅ Fully equipped kitchen to support in-clinic feeding therapy

While we’re so excited for this next chapter, it’s bittersweet to share that we will be closing our Waipio clinic on August 31st, 2025. Waipio has been such a meaningful part of our Sprouts story, and we are deeply grateful for all the memories and relationships built there. 💚

Tourette Association Of America NorCal-Hawaii Chapter is having their annual conference July 19th! 10am Hawaii time! Tourette Syndrome affects 1 in 50 children and half goes undiagnosed. Please join them as they have speakers that understand Tourette, have family members with Tourette and their amazing panel of TS warriors.

You don't need to have a TS diagnosis to join! Please help them share this amazing event to your friends/ families/work buddies.
