What a beautiful ceremony yesterday to celebrate National Donate Life Month and the 50th anniversary of organ transplants in Hawaii! 🙌 Dr. Livingston Wong, who established the first transplantation program at St. Francis Medical Center in 1969, was honored. Transplant recipients, donor families and living donors were among those also in attendance. Lieutenant Governor Josh Green presented a proclamation and the “Donate Life” flag was raised.

St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii, National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii, The Queen's Medical Center, Legacy of Life Hawaii, Hawaii Bone Marrow Donor Registry and Hep Free Hawaii.
