The holidays can be beautiful … and they can be incredibly heavy too.
This season has a way of magnifying what (and who) is missing, and if you’re grieving right now, you’re not alone in feeling that weight. 💛
Remember: Grief and joy can coexist.
You can miss someone deeply and still find yourself laughing. You can feel grateful and heartbroken in the very same moment. Both are true, and both are allowed.
This year, try leaning into the smallest moments of joy—even the ones that feel fleeting or insignificant. And if joy doesn’t come naturally, you’re allowed to create it: light a candle, step outside for a breath, call someone who feels safe, watch something that makes you smile.
Take things one day at a time. Step back when you need to and towards comfort when it finds you.
