This morning was nothing short of beautiful. 🌲💗

I had the honor of welcoming this family’s FIFTH baby earthside, a perfect 8 lb 2 oz baby girl, born gently into the water.

This mama worked so hard. Labor was steady, powerful, and asked everything of her… and she rose to meet it with such strength and focus. Water birth always carries a special kind of calm, but make no mistake, it is real, raw, incredible work. And she did it.

One of the most touching parts? Her proud siblings were there to witness their baby sister’s arrival. Watching their faces light up as she was lifted from the water is a moment I won’t soon forget. What a gift for them to see their mother’s strength and the beauty of birth firsthand.

So proud of this amazing mama. So grateful to be trusted again with another chapter of their story. Welcome to the world, sweet girl. 💕

There is something so incredibly special about being invited back to welcome another baby for a family. 💚
This morning, I had the honor of catching this sweet family’s SECOND baby — a beautiful redheaded baby girl with the most perfect little cry and a head full of fiery hair. ❤️🔥

Watching parents step into their confidence the second time around is such a gift. Mom was strong, steady, and absolutely amazing. Dad was calm and present. And now their family feels beautifully complete with this precious little sister in their arms.

Thank you for trusting me again with such a sacred moment. It never gets old. It is never “just another birth.” It is always a miracle.

There is something so incredibly special about being invited back into a family’s most sacred space. 🥰

I am over the moon to welcome this beautiful baby girl, born peacefully into the water at home this morning. She is baby number four for this wonderful family, and the second tiny human I’ve had the honor of catching for them.
Watching a family grow, evolve, and trust the process of birth time and time again is the greatest gift of this work.

A quick labor and a beautiful arrival 💗
This sweet baby girl decided she was ready and made her entrance swiftly and smoothly, weighing a perfect 7 lbs 10 oz. There’s something extra special about a fast labor that’s filled with calm, strength, and trust in the process.

Even more special—two very proud grandparents were there to witness her first moments earthside, soaking in the joy and love that filled the room.

Being invited to attend a woman’s first birth is always an honor 💚🌲💚

Last night, after a lot of hard work, this strong mama welcomed her baby boy earthside.

Birth asked a little extra of both of us — a shoulder dystocia required focused, skilled hands and calm teamwork — and together, we did exactly what was needed. I worked hard to get this baby safely into his mama’s arms, and she never stopped digging deep.
Everyone is healthy, stable, and snuggling 💚

This is an important reminder that while emergencies can happen at home births, they are often anticipated, recognized quickly, and managed effectively by a trained midwife — right where the family is.

So incredibly proud of this mama, her strength, her trust, and her beautiful beginning into motherhood. What a way to meet your first baby 💚🌲💚

Birth has a way of reminding me how sacred this work is. I was called to a family whose midwife was attending another birth, and it was truly an honor to step in and support this strong, determined mama. She worked so hard and welcomed a beautiful baby girl into her arms. I’m deeply grateful for the trust placed in me and for the privilege of witnessing such a powerful moment. 💚🌲

As I reflect on my first year in business, my heart is so full.
To every family who trusted me to walk beside you through pregnancy, birth, and the tender days beyond—thank you. Thank you for inviting me into some of the most powerful, vulnerable, life-changing moments of your lives.

This year brought 35 births, countless lessons, deep connections, and so much gratitude. I am incredibly proud of what’s been built and even more honored by the trust each of you placed in me as your midwife.

This work is sacred, and I don’t take it lightly. Here’s to the families, the babies, the strength of birthing people, and the community that made this first year so meaningful!

I had the absolute joy of attending a beautiful home birth for a truly lovely family today. This little one is already so loved — welcomed earthside by her four amazing older siblings who were bursting with excitement to meet her.

There’s something incredibly special about witnessing a family grow right in the comfort of their home, surrounded by love, calm, and connection. It’s an honor every single time, and this birth was no exception.
