For all of my clients on semaglutide, please read. I will continue to update you as i receive more information. For now, I am able to order refills.

Semaglutide Update:

On February 21, 2025, the FDA removed semaglutide from the Drug Shortage List. Under the FDA’s updated guidance, 503A pharmacies must cease compounding semaglutide by April 22, 2025, and 503B outsourcing facilities must do so by May 22, 2025.

Accordingly, by May 22, 2025, all remaining semaglutide inventory will be transitioned from Olympia Pharmaceuticals (503B) to Olympia Pharmacy (503A), our separate facility that operates as a community pharmacy. Semaglutide will thereafter be available exclusively through patient-specific prescriptions. We will continue to dispense semaglutide from our community pharmacy while supplies last.

URGENT: Updates Regarding GLP-1 Offerings
Hello,

We're writing to offer you an informed update on what is happening with GLP-1s, and what the future looks like for these products.

In October of 2024, a court case was filed by the Outsourcing Facility Association (OFA), challenging the FDA's sudden decision to remove Tirzepatide from the FDA Drug Shortage List. Yesterday, the judge overseeing the case denied the OFA's request for a preliminary injunction.

This means that the FDA's decision to declare the Tirzepatide shortage over remains in place - for now.

We have developed a timeline below detailing what Olympia's next steps are regarding our GLP-1 offerings, Tirzepatide and Semaglutide.
GLP-1 Timeline

MARCH 19TH
Tirzepatide will only be available under Patient Prescriptions. Olympia will have an extended supply in preparation for this transition. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.
MARCH 20TH
Semaglutide 15mg will be replaced by Semaglutide 12.5mg. Please review the new dosing chart in the resources section below.
APRIL 17TH
Semaglutide 5mg will be replaced by Semaglutide 6.25mg. Please review the new dosing chart in the resources section below.
MAY 22ND
Semaglutide will only be available under Patient Prescriptions, pending litigation. Olympia will have an extended supply in preparation for this transition. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.
MAY/JUNE
Liraglutide will become available for both Office Use and Patient Prescriptions. Liraglutide is a great alternative to Tirzepatide/Semaglutide.
