This is a quote after one IASIS MCN session on a rescue dog. Trauma and abuse are suspected form previous owners. The dog had been described as aggressive and full of tension. At the beginning of our session he was barking and growling at me. After the session had ended he was eating dog treats out of my hand. This is the response from the owner 3 days after the initial session with more sessions planned.
“He has been good. More relaxed. Wanting to cuddle up more. He is still tense when he is out and around others, but this morning he stood and watched another dog from about 15 ft away and didn’t go crazy. That is a big change.” The owner has had to tackle him off of other dogs previously.
