Vitality ✨
I chose extended side angle variation because I feel incredibly strong when I can stay in the midst of all the discomfort. Proving to myself I am capable of anything. Plus I’m a huge fan of strengthen my core/obliques!
✨My complicated pose is fingers to toes or any forward fold. Every since I started practicing yoga, judgement & expectations tend to show up and when I can slowly let go, I find myself free to accept where & who I am.

Due to quarantine some days I feel so unmotivated to do anything. That’s when I know I need to stop scrolling, put down my phone and move my body. Yoga has been my saving grace. It has allowed me let go of what I can’t control and focus on what I can. Plus I feel 10x better afterwards. So if you get quarantine blues move your body whether it’s going for a walk or practicing yoga!

Awakening
I chose warrior I variation because I feel super powerful and it opens my heart. Physically it strengthens my legs and stabilizes my feet. (Which can be quite challenging!) I love how it brings awareness to my mind & body connection. ✨

Today I am sharing with you my yoga transformation- photo.
It has been 5 years since I started practicing yoga diligently, and I have so much more to learn and understand. And yet I feel it is important to recognize how far I’ve come in my journey.
When i started to practice I would feel uncomfortable in many postures and super stiff. As each day goes by, I learn the lesson of patience and persistence- no, one can’t just give up.

This journey have made me become more aware of my negative thinking and most importantly- fear. The more attach to fear you are the more insecure you become. I believe fear is a false belief. But it can become a reality in our minds and prevent us from being truly happy.

When I am on my mat nothing else matters but a sense of peace. The moment I step off and into the real world, I am my old self again. Yoga teaches us that we can escape the false belief of fear. But as with anything in yoga, it takes time.

I hope I have succeed in explaining how yoga has changed my life. The old me is gone and I believe I am a truly a better person now and I am so proud of it.
