4 REASONS NEVER TO SIT ON YOUR WALLET 👇

🔆 Uneven Sitting

Sitting on your wallet can cause your pelvis to tilt to one side causing stress on your spinal column, compressing muscles and joints.

🔆 Sciatica

Sitting on your wallet puts pressure on the sciatica nerve which can cause pain, tingling and numbness in the lower back region and legs.

🔆 Posture

Even a thin wallet can distort the region of the spine and pelvis.

🔆 Pain

The distortion of the pelvis can cause and/or increase sciatic pain that radiates down the leg.

Remedies To Consider

Using a money clips or placing your wallet in your shirt or jacket pocket is a great way to offset these imbalances. Also, limiting sitting to 30 minute intervals is extremely helpful as well.

Last but not least, movement is key!!! Taking breaks to walk and stretch your body releases tight fascia, elongates muscles and also increases endorphins in the blood stream… the “feel good” hormones.

One more important recommendation is receiving regular stretch therapy sessions will make a huge difference in your posture, energy levels, stress levels, sleep quality and reducing of pain.
