With over 2 years of experience teaching, Mariana has ignited the curiosity of countless minds. 🌟She has dedicated herself to treating communication disorders such as articulation, apraxia, language disorders, and more for 2 years. Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) is a type of dementia often called Pick’s Disease or frontal lobe dementia. Some of the first signs of FTD include, changes in personality or behavior and language difficulties.

There are two types of FTD:
1) Behavioral FTD which causes problems with behavior and personality.
2) Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) which causes language problems such as naming objects or understanding meaning of words.
