Somatic exercises help to reset the autonomic nervous system. By resetting this system, you signal to your brain that all is well and this will bring your body back to a calm and balanced state.
So much of our stressors, grief, anxiety and trauma remain trapped in our bodies and after a while, this can crash the entire system if it goes unchecked.
