Hi, I’m Aston — a student doula passionate about supporting families through every stage of life.
From a young age, I watched my mother soar in her duties, caring for families — both dear and unknown — with compassion and strength. I always knew my path would mirror hers. I graduated from THE Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, all while working alongside my mother in our community.
Health and wholeness have always been part of my world. From fitness to metaphysics, I’ve been drawn to practices that help the mind, body, and spirit thrive. Today, I carry forward my mother’s mission by offering integrative wellness support through every stage of motherhood — rooted in love, tradition, and evidence-based care.
During the pandemic, I became deeply uncomfortable with our current medical system — from rushed vaccinations to rising maternal mortality rates. I started reading, researching, and thinking critically. I knew then that when the time came, I wanted to bring my children into the world with as little hospital intervention as possible. In 2022, I found out I was pregnant and made it my mission to create a healthy pregnancy and a peaceful birth. I gave birth to my son in July 2023 after just 15 minutes of pushing — and he’s been thriving ever since.
That experience lit a fire in me. I now feel deeply called to help other mothers have the same empowered, supported, and informed journey.
I’m currently in mentorship with Bee, learning the ins and outs of doula care so I can be the best support to birthing people. As I walk this path, I do so with empathy, open ears, and an open heart. Whether you’re preparing for your first birth or navigating postpartum recovery, I offer grounded, culturally sensitive care that uplifts and empowers.
This work is my offering — to my mother, to my community, and to every family I meet.
Let’s grow together — one breath, one moment, one birth at a time.
