My favorite photo of NYC at night. I went to a SNAP conference once years ago. I had a room at the Hyatt that had a clear view of the beam of light they were shooting up in the sky from Ground Zero. Freedom Tower is there now and they did a fine job of remembering the fallen and looking forward to the future. We are Americans. We need to stop hating those who disagree with us politically and over religion and work together. United we stand. Divided we fall. God Bless America and our veterans.

This woman and her co-worker started walking down the stairs of WTC I from the 80th floor. When they got to the 13th floor the building collapsed onto them burying them under tons of rubble. She lived and wrote a book about a guy named Tom who held her hand and stayed with her for hours until she was rescued. When she tried to find Tom later there was no Tom. She thinks it was an angel and wrote a book about it. Oughta be good.
