Ever been on a first date and already thought, “They’re the one, I love them, when are the babies coming?” 🤣

Hold up-too soon! Slow down and remind yourself, “I don’t even know this person yet, let’s take it step by step.”

Relax, enjoy the moment, and don’t rush into assumptions of thinking you know them because you don’t yet.

When you’re calm and present you’ll be able to notice red flags (or green ones!)) and decide from there.

Take the pressure off, and just enjoy getting to know each other 💫🌟🌟

Elections can be a stressful time for many people. This election I voted for Kamala. I wanted someone who more aligns with my morals, values, and respects women.

But… I have friends who voted for Trump and I love them too ❤️ 💗

Sometimes in life we do not get our way. God has a bigger plan that we may not even be aware of.

For those of you that did not vote for Trump, read my article (in the bio) on how to cope with election when you don’t get your way.

These strategies are ones that I use and can be effective with relationship as well. You won’t always get your way in relationships too and it’s important to remember that ❤️ 💕

Its important to ask the questions in your authentic way.

Make sure you cover the 3 categories:
1. passion, interest, and hobbies to understand how they spend their time
2. values to make sure there is alignment
3. relationship goals to make sure there is alignment

It took me 6 years to really understand what it means to transform and I only knew once I did the work.

When my fiance and I broke up in 2014, I was in so much pain. I was ready to end my life. Through God’s guidance I stayed a little longer to see what this spiritual awakening is all about.

I chose to do the work. I was in enough pain and I did not want to end up in a similar relationship.

All I know is when you no longer react to what someone says or does, but can see things as objectively as they are, you know you have done the work.

Assumptions come from our past experiences, curiosity embraces new experiences. Only through curiosity and a new set of eyes and ears can you truly have healthy relationships ❤️
