Baylor College of Medicine Anxiety and ASD Study To recruit study participants for a treatment study to engage with the community regarding anxiety and ASD.

The study delivers parent-led CBT to children with anxiety and ASD. Researchers at Baylor College of Medicine are conducting a treatment study that provides free parent-led cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety in children with autism spectrum disorder. All therapy is conducted over Zoom, but participants must be located in Texas to be eligible.

Baylor College of Medicine is conducting a research study that provides free treatment for anxiety designed to fit the needs of children with autism spectrum disorder (aged 7-15 years old). Hi y'all, check out this free, Zoom presentation this Wednesday, 1/27/2021 at 4:30pm CT about coping strategies for kids with autism and anxiety during the pandemic! Here is a link to register if you are interested: http://bit.ly/anxietyASDJan.

The presentation will feature Dr. Storch, an experienced clinical psychologist with expertise in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders. He will discuss what anxiety looks like in children with autism, coping strategies during COVID-19, treatment for anxiety, and information about free therapy for child anxiety for Texas residents.
