It's like you wake up one day and everything is finally OK. You're safe, you're sheltered, you're loved, you're life is on track for great things. You finally made it here where you belong. There is nothing to fear.
You've been in flight or fight for decades if not your entire life and now you don't even know how to turn it off. You can finally turn it off but your nervous system is like addicted to the act of being in flight or fight.
The rush of adrenaline, the dopamine, sadness, anger, stress are so much more familiar than any other feeling or process in your body. And your body is so fatigued and exhausted and all it really needs and really wants is rest. You dont know how to give it something it has rarely had.
Now you're just stressing yourself out over the smallest things, just because. You can just sit and cry because you finally have the time and energy to let it out. You can finally stop and feel what you feel.
You can finally feel peace, and happiness and joy... finally... but you're still learning how. You just never knew it and now you have to figure out how. You're so programed to be stressed and pushing so hard every day just to make it. Now that you don't have to.... now what, how?
A new program begins while oscillating between the old version and the new.
You are the creator and the programmer.
Let go, rest, heal.
