These Roots Run Deep

These Roots Run Deep Private and Public Forest Bathing Walks (adults and children). Corporate, private walks

Nature Cam We reconnect with ourselves too.

About forest therapy:

The forest is the therapist in forest therapy (aka forest bathing), and I'm merely the Guide. When we, human beings, allow ourselves the time to step into nature and slow down, all sorts of beautiful things can occur. We relax and become aware of our connection with the natural world. Essentially, a forest therapy walk helps us remember what's important. The forest helps us

remember what's important. I've already experienced many times how the forest has a beautiful knack of knowing and offering us just what we need. My job as a Guide is to help the forest do this. I find safe trails and organize nature walks for small groups of people (or 1:1s if you prefer), typically lasting 2 to 3 hours. During the walk, I invite you to slow down and explore your surroundings via various simple activities with all your different senses. We round off the walk with an informal tea ceremony. This ending allows us to gather together to share the experiences we've had and sample some tea brewed from locally foraged plants. Forest therapy not only helps us reconnect with ourselves and with the natural "more-than-human" world, but it can also help us feel more connected to our fellow human beings too. As well as public events, I happily arrange walks for organizations and private groups. Find out more:

"Left: me, completely broken, 93 pounds, living on the streets, living in fear, in pain, addicted to m**h and he**in, and ready for my life to finally end. I had endocarditis twice from using and I had a hole in my heart. My mom took that picture when she went to rescue me.

Right: I took this picture tonight. Didn't care about angles. Just wanted to show my happiness. 9 months clean. I fought hard for months in the hospital, survived heart surgery, gained 40 pounds, got a place to live, and I have my family and my two cats that help me. I've posted the before pic a lot but my story is important. Recovery is possible and it is worth it."
