Are you finding yourself having a hard time of getting healthy? It's not easy when you're already ill, so the best time to start working on your healthy is before illness happens. So when people ask me where to start I always tell them a couple of things.
1. Look at your eating habits. Keeping a journal on what your eating to start off with will make you more aware of what, how much, and how often your eating or drinking.
2. Beware how you feel. Like are you stiff, your back hurts shoulders hands etc. Maybe make a mental note do I feel like 1 being deathly ill or 10 feeling better than I have ever before. And jot that down in your journal.
3. Take a look in the mirror how do you look? Bags under your eyes? Dry skin, hair? Shoulders dropping down, what about hunchback or neck? What color is your skin, grey, pink, yellow somewhere in between. This has nothing to do with race.
4. Most people say gross to this one. But it's important. How many bowel movements do you have? Is it hard, do you strain, is it runny, does it come out thin or thick, what is the color, and how does it smell. You can get a lot from this.
5. What supplements do you take and where are you getting them from?
So start here so many diseases can be prevented if we are aware of our own bodies and early warning signs. I find it better to prevent than try to treat.
