Phoenix Rising Behavioral Health was founded in 2019 out of a need for flexibility. When juggling life, making yourself and your own well-being a priority is often last on the list. While your focus may be your child or family member with special needs, the entire family system is where true change takes shape. Phoenix Rising Behavioral Health was created as a flexible means of receiving behavioral health consultation, intervention, and support with the goal of helping you and your family rise to its fullest potential.
Dr. Kelley Martin is a Texas Licensed Psychologist who received extensive instruction in the evaluation and treatment of child and adolescent mental health with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as behavioral assessments, program evaluations, and consultation services. She believes that practical, coordinated care enhances an individual's likelihood for success; thus, her goal is to facilitate care while maintaining one's relationship with their educational, therapeutic, and medical teams. Dr. Kelley is a big believer in caring and being responsible for oneself as well as others while realizing and owning the fact that we are all perfectly imperfect. As someone who is intimately familiar with mental health issues as not only a psychologist but family member, Dr. Kelley strives to bring mental health care to everyone – to the impacted individual as well as the family – by meeting them where they are, bolstering their resilience, and instilling a sense of hope. She offers behavioral consultation and individual, family, and group therapy services in a telehealth format, bringing therapy to you in the comfort of your own home. She also presents to school districts, support and advocacy groups, churches, and community agencies.
Dr. Kelley is a professional member of the American and Texas Psychological Associations and holds an additional credential with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Kelley works for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission providing technical assistance to psychologists around the State of the Texas, assisting with policy and program development for IDD and Behavioral Health populations, and leading the quality assurance team of her department. Outside of her work life, she enjoys being with nature, spending time with family and friends, learning to crochet, and loving on her dog, Buckley.
