💥There’s A LOT of false information on social media surrounding pregnancy weight gain! We keep seeing reels that give misinformation about how much weight should be gained during pregnancy.

✨ According to the IOM Pregnancy Weight Guidelines:

🌟 Healthy women with a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9 should gain 25 to 35 pounds during pregnancy.

🌟 Overweight women (BMI of 25 to 29.9) should gain less, 15 to 25 pounds.

🌟 Obese women should limit their gain to 11 to 20 pounds.  

✅ Most importantly, check in with your OB to see if you are at an appropriate weight. Your doctor is there to guide and support you to ensure you are at a healthy weight for you and your baby!
