Today’s Parent Advocacy Workshop was powerful. 💛

Parents showed up ready to learn how to track IEP progress and MTSS Support Plans, understand school assessment data, and advocate with confidence — and one NEW family decided to move forward with advocacy support afterward.

That’s the power of data-driven advocacy.

When parents understand the numbers, timelines, and their rights, meetings feel different. Conversations change. Outcomes improve.

A bingo card for self-advocacy in the workplace wasn’t exactly on our own 2025 bingo card… until it was. 😅

Our wonderful WeStutter@Work Committee just created a new advocacy bingo card to support people who stutter as they set intentional, practical, and empowering goals at work. It’s playful and flexible enough to meet you wherever you are on your advocacy journey.

Some squares invite small steps. Some nudge you toward brave ones. All of them center on confidence and workplace inclusion for communication diversity.

🎄✨ What a Beautiful Way to End 2025! ✨🎄
Yesterday we celebrated our FOURTH Empowering Parents Workshop of the year with a special holiday event!

Twelve amazing people—parents, children, and advocates—came together to share snacks, treats, games, music, and the most important ingredient: COMMUNITY. 💙

The highlight? Hearing a powerful testimonial from one of our families about their advocacy journey and working with Elder Healthcare Consulting through strategy sessions, document reviews, and ARD attendance gave her the tools to advocate effectively for her son. She walked into the meeting prepared and confident.

This is why we do this work. Every child deserves services that actually work. Every parent deserves to feel empowered, not overwhelmed.

EHC participated in career day! It was great engaging with the 8th graders at a local middle school last month🤗

They role-played, asked questions, analyzed materials, and enjoyed learning about the world of speech pathology, advocacy and the diverse abilities population💜
