📖 Ariana Johnson’s poem “Olas Picados” earned First Prize in a poetry category. Ariana shares that her poem was a meaningful way to connect with her family, home, and roots, reflecting her passion for writing.

✍️ Edgard Castillo showcased his poem “Left Behind to Move Forward” and essay “(Un)Wavering Confidence,” offering powerful reflections and perspective.

Exciting milestone for our students! 🎉 Mathew Mendoza, Iman Bouchelkia, and Yakob Zumlot began their internal medicine and surgery rotations at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, joined by CEO Todd Caliva and Dr. John Byrne, director of surgical education and associate chief medical officer.
