Anyone else’s knees do this?? 😆

I try not to let this happen too often because I don’t want it to become a habit, but sometimes hypermobile knees are like - “we got it, why not flex?” 😎

Hypermobility perks = built-in shortcuts
…but not always the best ones 👀

Catching it and unlocking the knees helps shift the movement where it should go (hello hips 🙌).

📈 Our pain healing journeys are frequently more complex than treating a single diagnosis and the anatomy involved.

1️⃣ One patient may simply need help treating the diagnosis of a lumbar disc herniation.

2️⃣ A second patient may need help treating the same diagnosis, except it’s a repeat occurrence, they’ve seen multiple providers for treatment, it hasn’t been successful treated in the past, and this time they’re unable to work and cover the expenses for their family.

✅ Both of these patients have the same diagnosis and can be treated, but may require completely different approaches.

💙 The second patient is why it’s helpful to give psychological and social aspects of healing attention - to treat the person, when treating the diagnosis alone isn’t enough.

🥸 Pain is both a tissue related and nervous system related experience.
