Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community. These new families are looking for a new EVERYTHING! Town Hall contacts these new families each week as soon as they move into their new home. These new families will find new places to eat, work out, wash their car......they need a new Optical, Bakery, Auto Repair Shop, Dry Cleaner, Pet Groomer, Day Care Facility, Florist, Nail Salon, Pharmacy......you get the idea. They are actively seeking new local businesses and creating new purchasing patterns. They will become someone's next new local, loyal customer. Town Hall will direct them to you before your competition even knows they are here. Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one business per category, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being featured in our local Welcome Kits. I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail. Please reply to this email with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience. For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to text me on my cell which is listed in my signature. Thanks. Mary Scaggs (713) 443-9922 [email protected]

Operating as usual

UPDATE: Our office will remain closed tomorrow, Thursday, August 27, in response to Hurricane Laura.

We will continue to monitor the storm and hope to reopen Friday, August 28.

Today's Vision Sharpstown wishes everyone to stay safe as Hurricane Laura approaches. And, for that reason, our office will be closed Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

Patients who need to pick up any eye wear or is in need of medical attention should do so by 7PM today.

We will continue to monitor the storm and hope to be back in our offices as soon as possible thereafter. Please stay tuned for further updates.

The past couple of months have been a challenge. As the coronavirus COVID-19 has grown to pandemic level—impacting our daily lives at work and home—we want to share what Today’s Vision Sharpstown is doing to support the safety and well-being of the communities in which we live, work, and serve.

- All individuals MUST wear a face mask that covers their nose and mouth while in the office (Due to the nationwide shortage, we are unable to provide masks).
- Implementing additional sanitation processes to disinfect all equipment and surfaces before and after patient/staff use.
- Screening patients/staff when scheduling appointments and upon arrival.
- Redesigning waiting rooms and check-in process to ensure social distancing.
- Limiting the number of visitors. We kindly ask that patients do not bring nonessential personnel to their appointment.
- Minimizing the number of patients we are seeing per day in our office by staggering in person appointments.
We are optimistic that by working together with you, we can preserve your safety and ours, and help curtail the spread of coronavirus.

*Today’s Vision Sharpstown is closely monitoring the COVID-19 public health emergency and we’re following all recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and local officials.*

Please contact us for further questions and concerns (713)952-3937

[04/28/20]   We will start seeing routine eye exams starting monday, May 4. Appointments will be on a limited schedule.

We recommend those who are at high risk, elderly, children under 10 years old, or anyone who is taking care of individuals with covid-19, to defer their eye care until a later date.

We ask that you come to your appointment wearing masks and those who do not will be asked to return with masks. We will not be able to supply masks to our patients.

We will limit the number of patients in our office and will ask that each patient bring only 1 guest / parent / guardian to your appointment. All additional guests will be asked to wait in their cars or outside.

Our goal is to ensure the health and safety of our patients as well as our staff. We would appreciate your understanding and compliance with our covid-19 policies as we resume our normal operations.

[03/23/20]   We are doing our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Starting Monday, March 23, 2020, we will postpone all routine eye exams. We are available for urgent care only. You may also pick up contact lenses and eye glasses orders. Our office hours have been reduced to 10am to 6pm M-F. Closed Saturdays.

If you are not feeling well, elderly, or recently traveled, we would kindly ask that you not visit our office until the statewide lock down is lifted.

Thank you for your understanding and patronage. Please stay safe and follow all recommendations on how to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

[01/17/18]   Due to inclement weather, we will be closed until noon today.
