Coming out of a 3-week deep monastic retreat guided by Awakened Zen Masters Thich Dieu Thien and Thich Thong Hoi, we were given the precious chance to facilitate a 1-day Awakened Meditation Retreat at Universal Door Meditation Center on Aug 16, 2025. The theme: Experience Awakened Stillness to Know the Awakened Mind and Realize the Awakened Source.

Being real with the Awakened purpose to go Home and end the source of all attachments, we nuns walked the Awakened path by sharing with the retreatants so they could experience Awakened Stillness to know who they truly are (the Clear Mind) and liberate who they are not (the attachments to the voices in the head), and why we should return to True Home, the Awakened World of the Five Natures that the Awakened Zen Masters live in every moment.

One retreatant shared with genuine happiness, “I can’t believe that there is an Enlightened teacher right here to help me become complete Clear Water!”

Through Awakened Zen Master Thich Dieu Thien’s Dharma talk, each participant connected the Awakened Five Natures and felt the Great Vow. Many returned the next day to meet her in person, listen to her Dharma, and have their wisdom mind opened even more deeply.

Everyone went home knowing how to look for and return to the Clear Mind in daily life while staying connected to the Five Natures of Awakened Zen Master Thich Dieu Thien.

We offer our deep gratitude to the Awakened Zen Masters Thich Dieu Thien and Thich Thong Hoi for their profound Wisdom, boundless Compassion, and unwavering Great Vow in guiding the Pho Mon - Suoi Tu Awakened Sangha through a deep retreat.

This short highlight video offers just a glimpse into the depth and clarity we experienced under the spontaneous and dynamic guidance of the Awakened Zen Masters.

The retreat began on the peaceful shores of Corpus Christi and continued in the stillness of the woods at the Texas Hindu Campsite in Columbus, TX, a new and complete facility that offered the space for deepening our connection to the Awakened Source.

Through continued opening of our wisdom mind, the Awakened Zen Masters helped us realize and experience more clearly what it means to be truly “real” while walking the Awakened Path. Miraculously, as we left the campsite, a sacred vow emerged—born of the collective heart of the Awakened Sangha, illuminated by the Awakened Light of Awakened Zen Masters Thich Dieu Thien and Thich Thong Hoi.
