Joy Louise will be at Bossier Parish Libraries (Central Library) TODAY from 430 to 630pm 💗

ADVENTURES in READING begins at 430PM. Open to all children.
SPECIAL READS begins at 530pm. This program is designed for children, teens, & dependent adults needing 1 on 1 or a smaller group. Reservations are encouraged especially for those desiring 1 on 1 time.

The picture that started it all 💕 5 years ago I picked up sweet Joy Louise. I'm so grateful to the Lord for her everyday.

But this story didn't start so happy! For 2 months I watched a litter of pups on the humane society's website. I picked out the one I wanted & filed an application the moment they opened! It was just months into COVID & things at vet clinics were quite different. As a result I switched my dog's method of heartworm prevention. Instead of a shot at the clinic, I ordered oral prevention through them. Unfortunately when the humane society called my vet to confirm I was a good dog owner they were told my dog's were not up to date on there heartworm med. I'm an instant a simple oversight by my vets staff cost me the dog I applied. Within 24hrs the error was corrected but it was too late.

Then I saw Joy's precious face...
