🌧💙 This image resonates with me deeply this morning. Since starting Margo Brooks Senior Living Services, I've devoted myself to serving others with love and care. You might not see me posting much or attending every event, but the families I serve feel my presence. I've learned that it's not about seeking validation; it's about showing up fully for those I serve. My goal is to make every family feel seen, heard, and loved. Every day, I'm grateful for the opportunity to make a difference one person, one family, one act of kindness at a time.

Happy 92nd birthday to my precious June! I am a few days late posting. I am so blessed to be her person! She doesn’t have children, she is the oldest of six and only one sibling is still living who is hours away, she was married to the love of her life for 57 years, she was an oncology nurse for 40 years, she was an amazing artist (she actually has a Christmas ornament in the Smithsonian in DC that she designed for one the White House Christmas trees), and she is still quite witty. Her birthday wish was a hot dog with mustard, onion rings, and carrot cake! She had a wonderful time feeling celebrated and ate every bite! If any of you would like to wish her a happy birthday I will read all your messages to her!

THIS!! What a powerful example of faith in action! When needs in our community grew, our church family stepped up with hearts wide open. 5,000 meals provided through — a $10,000 gift beyond our regular giving! 🙌🏼
This is what partnership with Jesus looks like. Thanks be to God! ❤️

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Pat Nixon for an incredibly informative eight-hour seminar on Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care. I am on my way to having CDP letters after my name. *Certified Dementia Practioner. Pat’s ability to weave clinical knowledge with personal stories—added a depth and authenticity that truly resonated with me. I was reminded that behind every diagnosis is a family, a story, and a deep well of love. Pat’s compassion, expertise, and openness created a learning experience that was not only educational but also profoundly human. Thank you for equipping myself and those in the class with the tools to provide better care to the families we serve and for inspiring us with your strength and vulnerability.

Today, Margo Brooks Senior Services, Help Me, Rhonda, Mary Greer, and Uju Anyaneu's collaborative efforts sponsored a heartwarming baby shower at Uju's Rose Garden Senior Living care home supporting The Grand Baby Project Dementia Babies. This celebration showcased the love of community and generosity, bringing joy and essential items to two residents. Brooks Senior Services

Meet Sue Kash!
This introduction is long overdue.
Margo Brooks Senior Services launched in April 2023. Six months into 2024 the number of individuals being assisted quadrupled. In September, Margo asked Sue to join in her efforts . Please join me in welcoming Sue Kash. As a 26-year resident of Flower Mound and originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Sue has been the friendly face greeting visitors at The Flower Mound Senior Center, accredited by the National Council on Aging and a National Institute of Senior Centers, for the past 2.5 years. Her connection with the members and desire to contribute meaningfully have inspired her to join me. A graduate of Drury College in Springfield, MO, and the Dental School at The University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Sue practiced dentistry for 10 years. Following her dedication to raising her children, she is now embarking on a new chapter dedicated to Senior Living Services. Sue’s experience at the Senior Center, combined with her personal experience supporting her parents, has equipped her with valuable insight and wisdom to guide families in navigating senior living options. Sue will undoubtedly be a tremendous asset to the families she will assist at Margo Brooks Senior Services.
