My professional experience has given me an overall understanding of the challenges that accompany recovery. Part of what I've learned is abstinence is just part of the recovery journey. Managing your recovery as consistently as possible also needs knowing how to manage life areas that are usually adversely affected by addiction. I want to help you by providing those strategies that sometimes aren't a part of traditional treatment.

I'm honored and humbled to have been interviewed by Monica Ramirez. Her podcasts, including my interview, are broadcast on https://soulogynetwork.com and YouTube.

I wanted to be on her show because of her intention to provide the listeners with an understanding of addiction and how to manage the challenges of recovery.

If you'd like to learn more about me, you can listen to the October 20th interview on any of the stations that are listed in the preceding paragraph.

Highlights of the information discussed during the interview include:

The motivation for writing my book Back To Living
How addiction starts
What contributes to addiction being difficult to stop
The importance of recognizing and accepting there's a problem
What prevents people from attending 12-step meetings
The difference between lapse and relapse
The genetic predisposing aspect of addiction
How I can help people begin and maintain their recovery as consistently as possible
