Happy to report that I'm now certified on T3 therapy! , also known as is the active form of the hormone and carries out majority of the activity of the on various organs of the body. There are many ways to supporting thyroid function and depending on how far advanced thyroid disease is, either thyroid hormones, or , or can be used, and mostly I use a combination there of. Most patients who come to me are on ( ) only and are still not doing well, which is not surprising as T4 needs to be converted to T3 in the body for activity in the body and due to various reasons that conversion may be deficient.
