Fre'derick (Ziggy) Young Redd III, who is originally from Greenville, MS, but now resides in Houston, TX, was first diagnosed with ALL t-cell leukemia November 14, 2012 in Jackson, MS. He underwent treatment with the wonderful staff of Blair Baston's Children's Cancer Clinic until June 5, 2014. There he encountered his first remission in 2013 and relapsed on January 24, 2014. He had many surgeries, inpatient stays, check-ups, and other treatments. He even had a scary episode of complete kidney failure and had to be put in PICU (Pediatrics Intense Care Unit) at the end of May 2014 until April 2014. He came out of that situation known as the "miracle child" because the doctors nor the nurses had ever seen a turn already in numbers like his. Now, he is undergoing very intense treatment at M.D. Anderson Cancer Clinic for his 2014 relapse. He is continuing his FIGHT to a COMPLETE recovery. He is currently back in remission and he is handling his procedures/surgeries, treatments, and etc. We are praying and expecting nothing but the BEST outcome with this strong-willed, intelligent, handsome, and humorous young boy. We are pleading the blood over him that the Lord has already taken this illness away. We are filling HOPE with FAITH filled words! FAITH gives substance to HOPE. No, hope can not heal him but FAITH can/will. He shall be RESTORED back to health. Believing and calling for things that are not yet manifest. God's word is medicine! Call what you want!
