An end-of-year note from my heart!❤️

As this year gently comes to a close, I find myself filled with gratitude. Gratitude for life itself, for the ability to move, to learn, to heal, and to keep growing. Gratitude for the seasons that shaped me this year, both the bright ones and the quieter, more reflective moments that asked me to slow down and listen.
This year allowed me to travel in ways that deeply touched my heart…

When you walk through Christmas markets in Austria and Germany, you’ll likely see shelves gleaming with round chocolates wrapped in gold and silver foil, each stamped with Mozart’s portrait. They’re called Mozartkugeln, or Mozart Balls, little spheres of dark chocolate, pistachio marzipan, and nougat that taste like Alpine sweetness and winter memories. But behind the sweetness lies a long history of legal disputes and production drama that even our guide found fascinating.

White Wood-Ear Beauty Soup(A Hormone-Balancing Tonic for Fall)

This gentle and elegant soup has been treasured in Chinese kitchens for centuries. Often sipped under the soft glow of autumn moonlight, it nourishes yin energy, moisturizes the lungs, and helps restore feminine balance. Think of it as nature’s beauty elixir, comforting, hydrating, and healing from within.

Ingredients:
1 large piece dried white wood-ear mushroom (also known as snow fungus)
8–10 lotus seeds
6 red dates (jujubes), pitted
6 dried lychees
2 tablespoons goji berries
3 cups filtered water
1–2 tablespoons raw honey (add after cooking, when the soup is warm, not hot)

Instructions:
Soak the wood-ear mushroom in warm water for 30–40 minutes until fully expanded and tender. Trim the tough center and tear the rest into small, bite-sized pieces. In a medium pot, bring 3 cups of water to a gentle boil. Add lotus seeds, red dates, and dried lychees. Simmer for about 25 minutes. Add the softened white wood-ear mushroom and continue to simmer another 15 minutes, until the soup turns silky and slightly thickened. Stir in goji berries and cook another 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the soup cool slightly before adding honey for a touch of natural sweetness.

Healing Notes:
White wood-ear mushroom hydrates and supports skin elasticity while balancing hormones.
Lotus seeds calm the heart and mind, helping with sleep and mood swings.
Red dates and goji berries boost energy, nourish the blood, and brighten the complexion.
Dried lychees bring warmth and vitality, especially for women during seasonal transitions.

To Serve
Enjoy warm weather, especially on cool autumn evenings.

I’ve met so many beautiful souls who wake up each morning with good intentions, only to feel crushed by the end of the day. Crushed by cravings, by shame, or by that helpless tug-of-war with food. If this is you, take a deep breath. You are not broken. You are not weak. You are human, and your heart has its reasons.
It starts quietly. A little nibble here, a late-night craving there. A reward after a stressful day, a bite to soothe an aching heart. Over time… keep reading:

I have a small pot of red pepper, bold and beautiful. It’s my first time growing peppers, and what an emotional rollercoaster it’s been.
The first batch arrived like a burst of joy, full of life. Then I went away for a while, and when I came back, heartbreak was waiting. The plant looked gone. No green, no sparkle. Just dried stems and fallen leaves, like it had given up. But I didn’t. I kept watering it, day by day. A quiet hope in each drop. Maybe I was asking for a second chance. Not just as a gardener, but as a protector. Someone learning to care, even when it looks hopeless.
Weeks passed. Nothing happened. Then one morning, I saw it. A tiny sign of life. A bud. Then another. And now, two months later, it’s blossoming again. A second batch, glowing with even more color and strength than the first.

Life is unpredictable. But never give up on it. Second chances have a way of turning out more beautiful than we imagined.

Morocco on my mind (part 1)

When you step into Morocco, you don’t just travel—you feast. Every alley, every whispering breeze in the medina carries the scent of ancient spices and soul-warming tradition. And at the heart of this cultural tapestry are three everyday staples that speak volumes: Tajine, Khobz (Moroccan bread), and fresh mint tea.

As a certified holistic nutritionist and an explorer of healing through food, I found these humble dishes not only delightful to taste but deeply connected to wellness and community. Let’s journey into the Moroccan kitchen and discover why these three simple items are the daily heartbeat of Moroccan life.

Revitalize Your Body This Spring: TCM’s Yin-Yang Guide to Seasonal Eating & Liver Health.

As winter fades and nature returns to life, our bodies instinctively crave renewal. Spring is the season of growth, movement, and fresh energy, making it the perfect time to reset, cleanse, and nourish ourselves with foods that align with this natural transition. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), spring is associated with the liver, and the best way to support this vital organ is by eating in harmony with the season’s energy. Let’s explore why spring is the best time for a detox and how the Yin-Yang food philosophy can guide us in choosing the proper seasonal foods.

What is GLP-1? Why it’s such a hot topic and how you can boost it naturally.

Lately, you’ve probably heard a buzz about GLP-1—the hormone making waves in the health and weight loss world. Celebrities, influencers, and everyday people are raving about GLP-1 drugs like Mounjaro, but what if I told you that your body already produces this powerful hormone naturally? Even better, what if you could support it with real food instead of relying on pharmaceuticals?

Once upon a time, in the grand palaces of ancient China, there was a secret treasured by queens and noblewomen—an ethereal, creamy white soup believed to hold the key to beauty, vitality, and longevity. The recipe passed down through generations, was carefully crafted using five delicate, snow-colored ingredients, each chosen for its nourishing properties. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a beauty ritual, a potion for glowing skin, balanced hormones, and ageless grace.😀

Happy Valentine’s Day!🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐🍷🍷🍷

Valentine’s Day isn’t the only reason to focus on the heart this month. February is also Heart Health Awareness Month, a time to nourish and protect the most vital organ in our body. While we often hear about eating heart-friendly foods like salmon and leafy greens, let’s talk about something just as powerful but far more soothing—a beautiful, antioxidant-rich tea that loves your heart as much as you do. I call it “Sweetheart Tea”!
