Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that
are moving into our community.

Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a
small number of local businesses for the goods, services &
professionals that they need to find.

Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only
accommodate one Veterinarian, I would ask you to kindly let me
know if you are interested in being featured in our local
Welcome Kits.

It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in
her book “Making the Big Move”, 55% of new residents and
families seek out a new Veterinarian within 6 months of their
relocation. As such, more than one-half of our Welcome Kit
recipients are actively looking for a new Vet.

I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so
that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain
the program in greater detail.

Please reply to this email with your availability or call me
at your earliest convenience.

For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to text me
on my cell which is listed in my signature.

Thanks.

OFFERING REWARD!!! PLEASE SHARE!!!!
Please call 281-507-1565 or 713-478-5828 with any sightings!!! Thank you!! I'm 8 months pregnant and we really want her home before her baby brother comes!!!

Hey everyone. Please keep an eye out for our baby. She got out of the back yard on 11/24/17. We've been looking for her but not having any luck. Her name is Gypsy. She has a cataract in 1 eye. She has a navy blue Astros shirt on (the same one in the picture). We're in the Fairmont Heights neighborhood in Pasadena behind the HEB at the corner of Space Center and Fairmont. Please share her picture. We're both nervous wrecks. Thank you.
Please share.

We recently received information that our stolen Italian Greyhuahua (Italian Greyhound & Chihuahua mix) ESA dog was sold to a family living in Texas.

Sunny is a spayed female Italian Greyhound & Chihuahua Mix dog. She’s gold with cream paws & chest, about 14 inches tall & 15 lbs. Sunny has a cherry eye; which is a disorder of the third eyelid, which causes the gland to prolapse and protrude from the eye as a red fleshy mass.

She was stolen from Porter Ranch CA on February 3, 2016. It's been almost 2 years since she was stolen & we still cry for her every day. Whoever took Sunny ripped our hearts out when they took her. It's like trying to breathe without any lungs. Please we just want our baby girl back.

We been putting up big bright neon colored full size posters everywhere (probably within a 20-25 mile radius of where she was stolen from) since she was stolen. We also posted, emailed, or hand delivered fliers to as many animal shelters, rescues, & pet related companies/ as well as non-profit corporations as we could find through several different online resources in Southern California.

We will NEVER give up on finding our Sunny girl. She meant the world to us & made our family complete.

Kirkwood Veterinary Hospital IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED!!! A clinic in Friendswood has diagnosed H3N2 Canine Influenza in a group of dogs in the area. We now recommend vaccinating house dogs since the disease has becomes a legitimate local threat. If your pet travels anywhere that could expose them to this highly contagious disease--parks, neighborhood walks, grooming, etc--now is the time to vaccinate. To be fully effective, the vaccine must be re-administered at least 2 weeks after the 1st vaccine. Any dog that has been seen in our clinic in the last 12 months can get the vaccine without a new exam or any ancillary charges. Pets that have not been examined in the past 12 months and new patients will need a veterinarian examination first. Sick pets should not be vaccinated and should be examined as soon as possible.

For all dogs, we recommend that your dog avoid any activity
that could lead to exposure. Keep your pet at home and away from dogs with unknown vaccine or health history. The threat will pass, but now is not the time to be social with your pet.
Watch for signs of upper respiratory infection:

cough
sneezing
runny eyes
lethargy (low energy or laying around more than usual)
These symptoms may be very mild to severe. Severe cases can also have fever, difficulty breathing, and even death (rare). Seek immediate care, but DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET into a veterinary clinic without first warning the staff about the symptoms. They will likely want you to skip the lobby and go straight into a room. Canine influenza is not known to be contagious to any other species, so humans and cats should be safe. You can find more information at the following sites:
