Fluoride plays an important role in keeping teeth strong and healthy throughout life. It supports the natural repair process of enamel, helping teeth recover from everyday wear caused by acids from food and bacteria. Regular exposure to fluoride reduces the likelihood of cavities by making teeth more resilient over time. It's especially beneficial for children as teeth develop, but adults also gain ongoing protection. Common sources include toothpaste, professional dental treatments, and community water systems. Give us a call at (281) 494-3368 for more information.

Believe it or not, teeth are the hardest substance in the human body. This is primarily because of enamel. Its high mineral content helps teeth handle the daily pressure of chewing and biting. However, enamel can't repair itself once it's worn down or damaged. Consistent oral hygiene and regular dental care are essential for protecting enamel and maintaining healthy teeth over time. Ensure your teeth are strong and healthy by calling (281) 494-3368 and scheduling a routine checkup today.

Both electric and manual toothbrushes can effectively maintain oral health when used correctly. Electric toothbrushes improve plaque removal and consistency of brushing through built-in timers and controlled motion. Manual toothbrushes rely more on proper technique and user awareness. Cost, convenience, and personal preference often play a role in choosing between the two. We can determine which option best supports your oral health needs and daily habits. Give us a call at (281) 494-3368 to learn more!

False! Mouthwash can support oral health by helping reduce bacteria, strengthen enamel, and promote gum health. It's most effective when used as part of a complete routine that includes brushing and flossing. It's NOT a substitute for brushing or flossing. Different mouthwashes serve different purposes, so choosing the right one matters. Want to learn more? Call (281) 494-3368 with individual questions or concerns.
