We’re assisting the Montgomery County First Responders Foundation in seeking sponsors for their upcoming fundraising event that directly supports the medical and mental health care of our first responders — the heroes who protect us every day. 🧑‍🚒👮‍♀️🚑

What an honor it was to participate in the Behavioral Health & Su***de Prevention Task Force: Montgomery County’s First Responder Family Resiliency training last night! We love serving these families, who do so much for our communities! It was also so nice to see Houston and Harris County folks come out and connect! We are better together! Also, BIG shout out to:

The Woodlands Fire Department for letting us use their Emergency Training Center to host

Judge Wayne L. Mack for supporting and opening our evening

Carrera Counseling Services, PLLC would like to give a warm welcome to our newest clinician, Kim Mahnke, LPC Associate supervised by Vikki Sears, LPC-S!

She earned her Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico.
With nearly 20 years of experience as a school counselor, Kim brings a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face across the lifespan. While much of her background centers on working with children and teens, she also has experience providing therapy for adults in a variety of settings.
Kim is passionate about helping clients build self-esteem, manage stress, develop healthy coping strategies, and foster meaningful relationships. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, humor, and non-judgment. She tailors each session to honor the unique background and needs of every client.
Kim specializes in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. She currently offers both in-person and virtual counseling through Carrera Counseling, located in The Woodlands, TX. Kim welcomes children and adolescents ages 5–17, as well as adults of all ages.

We are so happy to have her! Kim will be available on Saturdays 8am-4pm and Thursdays 5-8pm. She can be reached directly at:
