How many steps does it take you to turn?

Most people have no idea… but it matters.

If you feel unsteady when you change direction or need multiple steps to turn, your body is telling you something.

In physical therapy, we look at how you turn.
Needing more than about 4–5 steps can be a sign your balance needs work and your fall risk may be higher.

Try this: turn in a full circle.
How many steps did it take you?

✅ You’re not stuck like this… your balance can improve.

👉 Follow for simple tips to stay steady and independent… and share this with someone who needs to see it.

Short, shuffling steps increase the risk of tripping and falling.

Telling someone to “take bigger steps” does not always work. Sometimes the body needs a different cue.

This simple setup helps improve step length and foot clearance in a more natural way.

Better steps mean safer walking.

If this helped you or made you think of someone, save it and share it with them.

Two months ago he was bed-bound. Today he’s walking. Nothing about this was easy. It was discipline, consistency, and a decision to fight every single day.

Aggressive therapy. Hard work. Zero excuses. This is what happens when a patient commits fully to the process.
Proud of his progress. Inspired by his mindset.

If he can do this, you can too. 💪🏼

1 in 4 seniors will fall every year 😌

That’s not meant to scare you, it’s meant to wake you up.

The good news is balance can be trained. These simple exercises using a foam pad are a great starting point for seniors at moderate to high fall risk. With the right level of support like a walker or a cane, you can safely challenge your balance in a way that meets you where you are.

This is how confidence is rebuilt. This is how independence is protected.

If this helped you or someone you care about, save it and share it with them.

If you’re ready to improve your balance and stay independent longer, DM me BALANCE and I’ll send you my free video guide.
