As 2025 comes to a close and 2026 begins in just two days…

This moment isn’t just about resolutions or fresh starts.
It’s a pause. A breath. A threshold.

Before rushing ahead, take a second to honor what this year held:
• The things you survived
• The ways you softened or strengthened
• The lessons you didn’t ask for but still learned
• The parts of yourself that kept showing up, even when it was hard

You don’t have to neatly wrap up 2025 to deserve a new year.
You don’t have to be “ready” to move forward.
You’re allowed to carry unfinished feelings with compassion.

As 2026 approaches, consider this instead of pressure:
✨ What do I want to feel more of?
✨ What am I ready to loosen my grip on?
✨ What kind of care do I need as I step forward?

Healing doesn’t reset on January 1st but you can choose gentleness as you cross the line into something new.

Here’s to moving forward with intention, not urgency.
With honesty, not perfection.
With care, not comparison.

Affirming care isn’t just about using inclusive language; it’s about honoring the complexity of people’s lives without pathologizing their relationships or identities.

When working with LGBTQIA+ or ethically non-monogamous clients, the goal isn’t to fix who they are; it’s to create space for authenticity, curiosity, and self-defined connection.

💡 Therapeutic insight:

Safety in the therapy room begins with curiosity, not correction.

Ask, don’t assume.

Affirm, don’t analyze.

Listen, don’t label.

Healing happens when clients feel seen, not just accepted, but understood.

This day is not just about acknowledgment; it’s about truth-telling, respect, and action.

🪶 Indigenous communities have long held deep traditions of healing, community care, and connection to the land, practices that have shaped how we understand mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness today.

As a therapist and advocate, I invite us to reflect on:
✨ Whose land we live and work on
✨ How colonization and intergenerational trauma continue to impact mental health
✨ How we can support Indigenous-led movements and amplify their voices

This year’s message is simple but powerful:

As I step further into this next chapter of my work, I want to share with you all something close to my heart, my signature model for healing and liberation: The UNBOUND™ Framework.

This framework is grounded in the belief that true healing requires unlearning shame, reclaiming agency, and embracing authenticity. So often, people carry internalized messages from culture, family, or past experiences that tell them who they “should” be. These messages create disconnection from self, from others, and from desire.

The UNBOUND™ Framework offers seven core pillars of transformation:

🥗 Nourish the Body – honoring the body as a source of wisdom and grounding
