Celebrating a Milestone for Biological Dentistry! 🎉 I’m thrilled to share that I just attended an advanced continuing education program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine – the nation’s second-largest dental school where Biological Dentistry is officially breaking into academia. It’s incredible to see holistic, biologically minded practices being embraced in such a prestigious institution.
🙌 Huge thanks to Dr. Shahram Ghanaati (Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr.) for leading this transformative course. Dr. Ghanaati – who holds a rare triple doctorate (MD, DMD, PhD) and is a renowned oral surgeon and researcher is using his vast knowledge to break down doors for biological dentistry in mainstream education. In this Tufts program, he provided cutting-edge training on autologous blood concentrates (PRF) and innovative surgical techniques like Guided Open Wound Healing for implantology
His credentials and passion lend tremendous credibility to what we’ve been advocating for decades. 🏅✨ For over 40 years, the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine (IABDM) has been championing the connection between oral health and overall wellness. We’ve long raised awareness about “cavitations” – those hidden jawbone infections in improperly healed extraction sites and how to prevent them, along with other biological dental principles. To finally have these topics taught and validated at a top dental school is beyond exciting. It feels like the dental profession is waking up to the importance of biological approaches that prioritize natural healing and patient well-being. 🌿🦷 This is a true watershed moment. What was once considered “fringe” is now entering the curriculum of a leading dental institution. 🎓🎉 IABDM’s vision is coming full circle: Biological Dentistry is going mainstream!
