Join our friends at the Texas Hearing Institute for a morning of fun decorating pumpkins this Saturday! They will display the pumpkins in the THI lobby where the staff will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite pumpkin. There will be prizes for the winning pumpkins!

Thanks to all who attended our CATCH course this month. CATCH is an intervention that combines Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) and Bimanual Intensive Therapy (BIT) for children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy (CP) and children with asymmetry in body function. We’re so glad we were able to offer this training for continued education for therapists. Keep an eye out for our next continuing education opportunity!

October is one of our favorite months of the year! Join us in supporting the Down syndrome community during this special month. In the 1980s, the National Down Syndrome Society participated in the efforts to have October proclaimed “Down Syndrome Awareness Month,” or “DSAM,” and this designation continues today. It’s a month to raise awareness and celebrate the many abilities of our loved ones with Down syndrome.
