Meet ✨Christina✨

Christina Tahtouh completed her practicum placement at OCDI Texas. She graduated
with her Master of Social Work from the University of Houston in May 2025 and holds a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. In
addition to her work at OCDI Texas, Christina has facilitated psychoeducational groups
for children focused on social-emotional skills through Save the Children and for adults
focused on substance use. Christina is dedicated to specializing in the treatment of
obsessive-compulsive and anxiety disorders and is excited to continue growing as a
clinician through her fellowship at OCDI Texas.

In OCD treatment, self-care can mean choosing opposite action—like showing up to therapy, slowing down when anxiety says speed up, or facing fears instead of avoiding them.
