People are struggling so much these days that a drop of kindness or selflessness or thoughtfulness is looked at with...skepticism.

We are so guarded that we skip over being grateful and look for the motive...😕

We HAVE to practice being grateful❗️❗️❗️

⛈Being ungrateful leaves you vulnerable to selfishishness.

🌥That is one quality, NOBODY needs to practice because we are inherently selfish creatures. It’s natural to protect #1

⛅️It’s not “bad” to be selfish. Being selfish keeps you safe.

🌤The 🔑 to living is to EVOLVE past our base instincts.

☀️We must BALANCE out our nature and practice being grateful, and in doing so we reach a state of wanting to reciprocate.

GET OFF THE ROLLERCOASTER 🎢

A lot of us talk about sugar and how addictive it can be. What we DONT mention as much is our caffeine intake.

Caffeine acts much the same as sugar does when it enters the body. It takes your blood sugar levels on a EXTREME rollercoaster ride!

Causing:

• afternoon fatigue
• sugar cravings
• caffeine cravings
• binge eating
• inflammation

I cut my caffeine WAY down and have noticed amazing results!!!

All I did was switch to Tea ☕️

• Macha Latte (cashew/almond milk)
• Chai Latte
• Organic Tea 🍵
• water with lemon (ALL DAY)

Make sure and cut the chemicals by purchasing trusted quality tea and add lemon(or any flavor) to your water.

What you want to do is 🛑 the caffeine and REPLACE it with 💧.

Chances are you need to be drinking WAY more water than you are and what’s MOST EXCITING is that water is the fastest working dissolvent and detox there is!

✨ It seems my life has always been a sum of 3s. ✨

I miss you everyday, and not a day goes by that you are not in my thoughts.

( I still can’t make a decent over easy egg, they are all trash 🙄🥚🗑 )

“grief is love, with nowhere to go”

That quote is not true at all. All my love went to our family. You took me in when our mother passed and I took them in. I believe it’s what you would have wanted.

Tough early years taught me how to build a impenetrable wall🧗🏽‍♀️ I couldn’t take it down, instead I scaled it and left it behind.

You inspired me to learn to break chains, starting with ours. Nobody should have to live in extreme scarcity and survival as we did.

You were my Safe Place.

This message is about both of us. SO MUCH of me is because of you. I wouldn’t be half the person I am today if you didn’t decide to save me from that hospital, that car accident.

(For anyone who doesn’t know, the early lives of my family and I was like a episode of Greys Anatomy. OUTRAGEOUS SH$T just kept on happening!)

Thank you for another shot at life, thank you for being a great mother/sister/friend to me, and for teaching me. You inspire me in ways I’ve kept silent about.

It’s only fair that I learn one final lesson from you this day.

Every Valentines Day it really does brighten my day to see people taking time out and just appreciating each other. Whether your doing it with flowers, gifts, a loving note, or quality time...I just love seeing the evidence of such care!


Im not a fan of trivializing these moments, I am aware that people have a variety of reasons. The fact of the matter is, someone is taking ACTION to show you they care and recognize your value in their life and I think it’s beyond special!


As a single women on “singles awareness day” I take the time to treat myself the way I rarely get to. I show myself the extra love and care by taking it slllllooowwww.


✨Cooking a delicious meal WITH an amazing presentation. 👩🏽‍🍳✨
✨Putting together an amazing outfit, doing my make, AND hair!! 😜
[ the reality is it’s one or the other lol ]

✨Going out for my Macha Latte and having enough time to sit and enjoy it. 🤗

✨Instead of running 3 miles, I’m going to walk and really just take in my surroundings. 🏃🏽‍♀️🏘
[teehee 😅 NOT pushing myself as hard as I normally would]

These seemingly little changes done one after the other create a new experience entirely. This is my way of showing myself the care and attention it needs because I am always on the go!

🌱IF YOU’RE GOING TO BE LOW ON ANYTHING, DON’T MAKE IT ENERGY🌱

Low energy is one of those things that seems to happen when we least expect it. Either we are spending it on things that result in no action, such as worry or we are spending it on things that don't further our plans AT ALL!
😰
How many of you put others before yourself? I know I do! Then as the day progresses it seems that time has slipped away and we haven't gotten anything done!

“I was busy 🤔 yes, but HOW has my To-Do list grown⁉️

Having low energy has everything to do with where we are spending it. The things we focus on(that do not serve us) seem to suck our energy and leave us feeling drained. 🥴

I want to suggest for a moment that you could step out of this process and enter a new one...

👏🏽 WAKE UP AND SEIZE THE DAY!

Get up and move DAMN IT! Your body is a , it only works at 💯 when it’s moving! Go walk the dog, go to the gym, dance around the house, have s*x, get on the bike! I don’t care what you do, but !

🚨I CANNOT stress how important this is! 🚨

👏🏽 CREATE A MAP 🗺 OF THE DAY!

I love following the seasons and since winter is coming to a close, now is a great time to change habits and detox.

✨Create a intention for the day( example**To be thoughtful )

✨list your goal for the day ( example** go through my emails )

✨list 3 task that will serve you in accomplishing your goal

👏🏽 BRAG ABOUT YOURSELF!

This is something I have started doing lately whenever I am pushing out of my comfort zone and I’m not being perfect (slight eye twitch).

I say it aloud.

“Wow, I am doing so well RIGHT NOW!”
🔥
When I acknowledge myself, I am bringing attention to my which reenforces this process as a success!! YAY!

Who doesn’t want success...⁉️

Now I realize that life isn't as easy as 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣, BUT if you can follow through with this system you're more likely to see results than just winging it. Lets give it a try, and see what we see. 🤷🏽‍♀️😘

The reason you should even read this or even try to do what I'm suggesting is because unconsciously you're teaching yourself to plan your day, follow through, weigh the tasks of the day with what is best for you, and reward yourself for getting it all done!

I promise that after trying this once, you will feel clear headed, energized, and capable of handling anything the day throws at you!

Happy Monday!

This year it was one of my goals to post and share more and so now I am kicking my own butt for taking 28 days to do just that!

I suppose my biggest fear was not being authentic, and a great way for me to combat this is to talk about what I know. DUH!
