Apnix Sleep Diagnostics We are the experts in sleep disorder diagnosis, testing, treatment, and equipment supplies in the Houston, Texas area.

Founded in 2000, Apnix is an American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) accredited sleep center specializing in sleep testing, CPAP and BiPAP titration, and maintenance of wakefulness testing (MSLT). Our full-service sleep diagnostics and treatment management centers offer the services and facilities of a medical center. We have vast expertise in assessing and diagnosing sleep disorders and have served more than 20,000 patients to date. We perform attended overnight studies that record important vital functions while patients sleep.

1. Set up patients in the office with CPAPs and Bipaps. Provides instructions to patients on use of CPAP.

2. Understanding of sleep disordered breathing including sleep apnea.

3. Experience with setting pressures on CPAPs and Bipaps.

4. Experience with CPAP mask fittings. Fits patients with appropriate mask and supplies based on patient's needs.

5. Completes documentation upon set-up verifying fit, function, and performance of equipment.

6. Participates in QA programs.

7. Monitor patient compliance and contact patient to discuss issues.

1. Answer incoming phone calls with efficiency and courtesy, and redirect calls appropriately.
2. Maintain accurate records of communication activity.
3. Greet customers and other visitors to the Company, and put them in contact with the appropriate Company personnel.
4. Provide accurate information about the Company to callers and visitors.
5. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail as needed.
6. Perform light word processing, bookkeeping, data entry, photocopying, filing, or other office activities as needed.
7. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
8. Participate in Company committees and programs when requested.
9. Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities.

​Texas Division of Emergency Management is offering free drive-thru testing. To obtain a test, visit https://txcovidtest.org/ or call 512-883-2400. Health care workers will screen people for fever, chills, cough, fatigue, body aches, muscle or joint pain, shortness of breath, sore throat, headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, nasal congestion and loss of taste or smell. For testing locations, go to https://houstonemergency.org/covid-19-testing/. Appointments are required.

Houston Health Department is testing anyone wanting to get a test. People can call the department’s COVID-19 Call Center at 832-393-4220 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. You will receive an access code and directions to the nearest site.​

Harris County Public Health (HCPH) encourages residents to get tested for COVID-19 if they feel they have it or have been in contact with someone who tested positive.
