Benefits: A Cervical ESI helps with chronic pain that may also effect your arms, hands, and more. It is indcated for a pinched in the neck due to arthritis or herniated disc.

Procedure: A Cervical ESI is administered via injection around the spinal nerves in your neck. This is done under X-ray guidance.

Results: A Cervical ESI can take up to a week to feel relief, timeframe of effect varies. It can last up to 9 month to years based on pathology. Ask your pain doctor about specific details or make an appointment with us!

Our Story

Greater Houston Interventional Pain Management is a group of professionals committed to the compassionate understanding of patient's in pain, and the scientific assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pain related disorders. The physicians of Greater Houston Interventional Pain Management bring the highest level of experience in comprehensive interventional pain management to our patient's.

Dr. Elias Benhamou, 58, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, February 25, 2018, at his home.

Dr. Benhamou was born March 28, 1959 in Marrakech, Morocco to Armand and Colette Benhamou. Dr. Benhamou received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Paris, in Paris, France in 1985. He moved to Houston in 1991 and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Benhamou joined Greater Houston Anesthesiology (GHA) in 1992 and joined the Ladner Clinic in 2003, specializing in interventional pain management, eventually purchasing the practice which he operated since 2004. The practice he founded will continue his legacy of caring led by his partner, Dr. Mobeen Choudhri.

Dr. Mobeen Choudhri has been a pain specialist with Greater Houston / Victoria Interventional Pain Associates since 2009. During this time, Dr. Choudhri has performed thousands of procedures and has treated thousands of patients. Dr. Choudhri is a board certified physician in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
