A study, published in the open-access journal Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, shows that older people who routinely partake in physical exercise can reverse the signs of aging in the brain, and dancing has the most profound effect.

The Truth About Almond Milk: Industry Insider’s Shocking Admission.

"In fact, mass produced almond milk needs a moniker more worthy of its ingredients: multivitamin water with illusions of grandeur." Read about our alternatives in the comments! The Truth About Almond Milk: Industry Insider’s Shocking Nick Meyer | September 30, 2015 There’s no way to sugar coat this: mass-produced dairy products are simply a mucus-causing, disease-fueling cocktail marketed as the would-be saviors to fight osteoporosis. For many of us, almond mi...

Acupuncturists Without Borders

Here is what this gentleman said about his first-time acupuncture treatment tonight with Bob Conrique at Stonewell Bar Orlando:

"All of us have had generalized anxiety since the shooting. Where I work we had several colleagues killed and injured.

The treatment was amazing. I feel less anxious, more relaxed, more balanced and able to cope. Grief counseling is helpful – and it can take some time. If you can do something beneficial that changes how you feel immediately, physiologically, why not do it?

To anyone who is considering doing an ear acupuncture treatment I would say: suspend disbelief about this alternative form of medicine and try it. You will be pleasantly surprised at how easy and amazing it is and how quickly it works.

I am very impressed at how fast your group got this organized and offered it to us. Thank you. It is very kind."

This treatment was given as part of a team effort with Florida-licensed acupuncturists Michelle Alley and Steve Shomo, collaborating with Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB), The Florida College of Integrative Medicine (FCIM), The Florida State Oriental Medical Association (FSOMA), Colorado Acupuncture Medical Reserve Corps (CAMRC), The National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) and Global Outreach Doctors (GODocs).

For Insomniacs, Behavioral Therapy Is Better Than Sleeping Pills

This aired today on NPR. Good to hear CBT is gaining recognition and good timing - we just started week 2 of the Cognitive Behavior Therapy Essentials course by the Beck Institute. Just add needles, cupping, infrared and herbs - you'll be snoring in no time. If you have chronic insomnia, the American College of Physicians this week said that it's better treated with therapy than sleeping pills.

Please help us spread the word to those who've been affected by the flood. We'll be at the wonderful White Oak Conference Center again the next few Wednesdays 5-8pm, with the help of Acupuncturists Without Borders, offering FREE stress relief treatments to victims and first responders in a community setting. Only the NADA protocol is used - ear points exclusively, no disrobing, 20-45 minutes of quiet sitting to get the stress down, sleep better and feel more balanced.

[05/04/16]   Have you been helped by acupuncture in some way? There are two ways you can share the love right now!...
ONE, we need VOLUNTEERS! Our neighborhood has been badly flooded and many suffered devastating damage. With the help of Acupuncturists Without Borders we are offering free acupuncture for the next few Wednesdays at the White Oak Conference Center in Inwood starting tomorrow 5-8pm to help deal with the trauma. We need volunteers to help with check-in, check-out, etc... Give us a call or message us if you can lend a hand.
TWO, you can donate (even small amounts help!) to an
organization we volunteer with, Vet TRIIP, before midnight tonight, through this site: . This organization provides free (and wonderful) multi-modal drug-free healing sessions to veterans in Houston and San Antonio. The more people contribute the more likely they are to get grants and awards - which means more vets feeling healthy, happy and productive.

[04/27/16]   Received supplies from Acupuncturists Without Borders. Thank you so much! Getting really close to opening our flood trauma relief clinic at the White Oak Conference Center. Clinic hours will be 4-8pm - we will post here and on our site as soon as we know what days!

Great company. This is a great deal they are offering and for a good cause.

What can we say, we love to give back!!

Beauties, Forget Me Not Farm needs our help. They have an amazing program teaching at-risk children how to love animals, so they will not hurt them. Quickly, FMNF discovered that the animals were helping the children learn kindness, compassion and empathy from a new source. One that the children came to trust. That trust breaks the cycles of animal abuse.

Here’s how we can break the cycle, together:
Thursday and Friday, purchase $69+ in products from and we are going to donate 50% of the proceeds from your transaction to Forget Me Not Farm and you will receive our awesome Super Gift with Purchase, a $155 value!!

Supplies are limited, Beauties, and this promotion is only valid for 2 days and only in the USA. Curious about our collection? We have a promise to love: If it is not the right shade or solution, send it back for free, for an exchange or refund. You have up to 30 days! xoxo 12/31/2012
