Thank you to the Houston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
Incorporated for highlighting the work Sorors are doing in the community for COVID-19 !
In celebration of “Sisterhood” and Women’s History Month, Houston Alumnae Chapter presents “Hey Sister” a term of endearment reflecting our love, support, and commitment to sisterhood. During the month of March, we are highlighting Sorors who go above and beyond to serve in areas related to the global pandemic.
The 3 Deltateers! We know, we made that up but that is the best way to describe Soror Peggy Engram, Soror Anjanette Wyatt, and Soror Marva LeBeau. These women are instrumental in working directly with community groups and driving information pertaining to COVID-19 vaccines and any other resources. They are well known in the community through their volunteerism and professional work. They have reached out to Sorors, community members, and elected officials to distribute resources to those in need, focusing on communities that have been affected the most by the pandemic. Today, we present our violets to Soror Peggy Engram, Soror Anjanette Wyatt, and Soror Marva LeBeau. Thank you for being one for all and all for one!
Hey Sisters!
