First up: Is it safe to get Botox right after your flu or COVID shot? 🤔
👇Here’s the scoop
It’s best to wait at least 1–2 weeks before or after a vaccine (like flu, COVID, etc.) before getting Botox or fillers.
🧐 Why?
Both vaccines and Botox can trigger your immune system in small ways. Getting them too close together can sometimes cause extra swelling, redness, or inflammation, and/or initiate potential neurotoxin resistance. We want your body to focus on one thing at a time — either building immunity or relaxing muscles, not both!
🗓 So if you’re scheduling, just make sure there’s a little breathing room (2 weeks) between your vaccine and your injectables appointment.
